Ask For Help When It Matters

High performing people strongly believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness. They become much more dependent on themselves. That situation prevents good ideas from getting to them and also creates very tiring and anxious environment for them. Whether successful or not, a person should always seek help when it is necessary.

Many high performers would rather do the wrong things well than do the right thing poorly. How sad? The problem is that high achievers are aiming for doing instead of becoming. Do you think that someone who is constantly achieving only to get good results is learning in the process? I do not think so. But if your purpose is to grow and become better in the process, you will do the right thing poorly first and with practice, you will do it very well. I believe our own environment does not punish initiatives- no matter the outcome!

We need to accept our mistakes before becoming a master at anything. It’s not about winning and losing, it’s about winning and learning. Don’t be focused on winning that you don’t want to fail at learning new things. And when that happens we loose the opportunity to grow. Ultimately, this is not good for our own kind of industry.

Do not be conscious about what other people would think of you that you do no perform perfectly and therefore prefer not to venture in a new territory at all. We have to try new things, change perspectives, experiment new ways of doing old things and create new changes to solve old challenges. Doing the same thing over and over again will only maintain the status quo.Venture into new territories and seek help from professional colleagues when you run into troubled waters.

You will reach your zenith!
