There is an evil in our nation today that’s more than corruption; it is the mindset of negative expectations. When are we going to start speaking well of our beloved country? While we might have been impoverished by a few privileged elite political class for so long a time, it’s important to remember the torchlight of achievement and good stories that have also come out of our country and continent. It’s high time we made deliberate efforts to generate new attitudes, beliefs and assumptions. We can change overarching beliefs and assumptions that have supported the undesirable experiences we have had to live with and which continues eat deep into the very core of our nation’s being like a cancer.
