Evolve and Excel 2013: CIPM’s 45th Annual Conference- What will happen?

There are many challenges and opportunities on the horizon, and the organizers of this year’s conference are looking at how to incorporate those to make the CIPM event a better, more user-friendly one. It was created to be a valuable resource for HR pros and business leaders, and that mission is about being fulfilled! I may not be fully clear about what will happen at the annual conference this year but borrowing a leaf from what came out of the event last year, the sessions are really going to be amazing and filled with all kinds of new experiences for the attendees! Let’s Do Away With HR

Can we begin to boldly pursue realities? Let’s do away with HR.   Don’t you think managers should be doing “HR’s job”? I think in amazing number of cases it’s not really HR’s job. Want your HR team to be useful and provide genuine value to the organization? Let HR focus on strategic activity, supporting the critical business functions, and planning for the future. Why? Because when you spend all day fighting fires, responding to emergencies (real or imagined), and generally acting as a support for managers who won’t manage, there’s no time for the activities that will truly demonstrate the value of HR.
