Economic Hope?

2012 has been a turbulent year as it receded and surged on the waves of increasing insecurity, unemployment rates, infrastructure decay and heavy interest of government in taxes. However; 2013 will definitely be a big year for many. How can you position yourself for all the 'big' in the year? There is no sitting on the fence and hoping things will get better, you have got to start working at achieving your set targets.

Don't just hope things will move your way; hope is not a reliable economic tool neither is it a strategy that always works! Take time to do a financial health check to determine where you have been, where you are currently and where you hope to be by end of 2013. You must give considerations to your particular requirements, timescales and different options you have.

Brainstorm every possible method you can adopt to accomplish your stretch goals- those that are far out of reach that you are not sure you can achieve. In the first place, real economic goals must be ones that you currently cannot make happen. In reality, all you need is to make daily effort at achieving them and not just hoping.

Make up your mind to increase your willingness to learn new things and increase knowledge of your world, workplace, business and technology. If there is anything hope should do for you, it is that you must allow it to fire up your passion and drive to achieve your economic goals.

As 2013 realities dawns on us all, every other day is every other new Naira and may I ask- how much additional Naira have you made in the last 16days? The concept of 'time value of money' is still very real. Paying careful attention to this on daily basis or at most on weekly basis can be a defining factor for your individual or business economic freedom in 2013.

Are you still hoping? Now is the time to start doing.

You will reach your zenith!
