Destroy the Seed of Evil, or It Will Grow Up to Your Ruin.

If evil is inevitable, how do you make the wicked accountable? Is it true that Power is always dangerous and it attracts the worst and corrupts the best? It is certainly to be regretted that the rich and powerful too often bend the acts of government to their own selfish purposes. Why must we have to fight our own government to save our nation?

The former National Security Adviser (NSA), Mr. Sambo Dasuki, ex-Minister of Finance Bashir Yuguda and a former Director of Finance in the Office of the National Security Adviser, Mr. Shuaibu Salisu as well as  many others were alleged for misappropriation of N30billion.

The N30billion loot has been allegedly distributed to:

1.      N10 billion to delegates to the Presidential Primary Election of the PDP.
2.      N13.570 billion “agreement”  between Dasuki and the ex-Director of Finance;
3.      Transfer of N1.45billion to Acacia Holdings Limited’s account for special prayers;
4.      N2.1b given to DAAR Investment and Holding Company Limited for publicity;
5.      N170m for a four-bedroom duplex;
6.      N380m to support re-election of members of the House of Representatives;
7.      N750m paid into Reliance Referral Hospital Limited’s account for special prayers;
8.      N670m paid to a publisher;
9.      N260m transferred to Tony Anenih and;
10.  N345million traced to a former President of the Senate, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu.

Mr. Shuaibu Salisu, former director of Finance in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), said $47million was withdrawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 11 suit cases. He said he suspected that the cash might have been given to the PDP. Surprisingly, he, however, said as a civil servant, he was innocent because he only carried out instructions from Mr. Mohammed Sambo Dasuki, ex-National Security Adviser.
It’s unbelievable and mind-boggling to hear that $2billion meant for procurement of arms to run out terror out of our nation was diverted for other means and my heart really bleeds for my dear nation.
Please I need answers:
1.      How could the CBN Governor allow $47million to be taken from CBN in cash?
2.      What was the former Minister of Finance & Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy doing inspite of all she told us about the state of our economy?
3.      What was in the mind of these human beings when they took away $2billion of Nigeria’s money under our current ordeal for no just cause?
4.      What is the real worth of an average Nigerian’s life? Why should they allow our soldiers to go to a battle they were set up to fall for?
5.      What happens if our highly revered “men of God” are caught up in the web of the N1.45billion and N750m for special prayers?
6.      What could be common between a “Referral Hospital” and “Special Prayers”?
Corruption has become a curse that afflicts our country and has infringed upon every aspect of our society. I pray for my dear country today, may God redeem you and make you one of the most desirable nations of the world in not too distant future in Jesus’ name. Amen
